How to set up your Vox event?

Whether it is your wedding reception, charity auction, fashion show or corporate party, the Vox Theatre has many options for providing your guests with a fun, comfortable and relaxing environment.


Pictured above is the set-up for Jessica and Matt's Kansas City reception after their destination wedding in Mexico. They used bright and fun colors with a causal cocktail style layout. 4 different food tables were mixed among the seated guest tables and hightop cocktail tables with a bar in the main space and a bar on the patio.


This photo was taken during the set-up of the 2011 KCMPI Awards Banquet and Silent Auction. Around 50 guests were in attendance, so a portion of the room was used for a cocktail/lounge area for networking prior to a plated dinner. Another area was used to the display of the silent auction items.


After their original venue closed, a last minute venue change brought Katie and Mike to the Vox Theatre. Their original venue set-up was rectangular tables with a cheery and linear look. Trying to stick as closely to the original table layout, Events by Annie was able to use the previously rented items without any hesitation.



Two different fashion shows - Models on a Mission - Joplin Benefit and Benefit for Boobies - a Mamgramorama. The Joplin benefit (photo above) used VIP tables and seating with a 50' runway down the center of the room. The Benefit for Boobies (set-up photo below) had seating for most of the guests around a U-shaped runway.



The options are as numerous as the imagination allows. Stay tuned as we see more events we will see different uses of the event space at the Vox Theatre.
